The gujjar agitation is the reflection of the pass to which the democracy has come to.We play with the sentiments of the people when we make political promises to which we have no desise to feel committed to.It is a strategy to ward off the problem for the time being.

The politics of reservation to win over the votebanks is taking the country to the brink.It is gujjars today.Tomorrow it will be some other community.The Meenas have enjoyed the best of this world and have been able to improve the lot of the community through this reservation route.Now the gujjars know the benefits that can accrue to them if they are also placed under the reservation category with the government premier jobs flowing to their kids.The status of the individual families improve and then these people also improve the lot of the community by making favourable policies for the community,although it may not be good for the country.

The country is being divided on these issues and we have lost our nationalistic feelings.We are still moved only by family considerations and at the most community considerations.The regional matters are making us fight with each other and the country may go to dogs.

The way to protest is to burn and turn the agitation violent.Otherwise nobody takes you seriously.The police in this country will have to work in this difficult times when political masters will not give the mandate to use force and dilly dally with firm action as per law.
