GPF Scam in Ghaziabad Court

I read a news item in the Times of India today.It talks about the deliberations taking place in the highest court of the country,the honourable Supreme Court about the request of the UP police regarding the questioning of some of the judges who remained posted there and are allegedly involved in the scam as per the statement of the main accused Asthana,and are now promoted as High Court judges and one of them is a Supreme Court judge. The dignity of the judiciary is certainly involved,but should we modify the rule/law for the high and the mighty judges who allegedly have been involved in the scam as per the kingpin?In all 23 judges are supposedly involved.The rule of law should prevail, and the message should go to one and all that however mighty and powerful one may be,the law remains the same.
The judiciary cannot sit in judgement over itself,and let the investigation take place in public for everyone to see,under media's eye.There is enough circumstantial evidence for investigating officers to believe it warrants investigation.The investigation should be taken over by the premier investgative agency of the country,CBI.
